Abiy plants tree ahead of vote
Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has been inspecting several projects in the capital, Addis Ababa, as millions of people around the country cast their vote.
He visited a road construction site and a bread factory.
Mr Abiy shared several pictures on Twitter of his morning tour, including one of him planting a tree.
“As citizens go out to vote,” he tweeted.
