Eritrea is an ally of Ethiopia’s federal government in its civil war with Tigrayan fighters.

But in a tweet earlier on Friday, the company says its Facebook account was “temporarily compromised” and a “fake statement was posted”.

Its Facebook account is now under its control, the airline added
